Tom King has issued a sinister threat to Belle in Emmerdale.
Friday’s (July 26) episode featured more dark scenes between the couple as more of the village learned their private business.
Belle was now staying at Wishing Well Cottage, where she confided in Vinny Dingle that she’s split up from Tom because he has a cruel streak and says hurtful things.
When Vinny later overheard Tom telling co-worker Paddy that Belle was “not stable enough for marriage”, he stood up for Belle.

Tom once again showed his vindictive nature by blurting out in front of the entire Woolpack that Belle had lied about her miscarriage and that she’d actually had an abortion.
Belle walked into the pub just as Tom made this personal revelation. Tom then accused Vinny of being jealous because he has a secret crush on Belle.
“Come on Vinny, you’ve been sniffing around for ages,” Tom declared. “Just be honest for once, have you been sleeping with my wife?”
Belle got in between the two to drag Vinny away. Tom demanded to speak privately with Belle, where he predicted everyone would think she was “awful” for spreading “lies” to Vinny.
“You just told everyone in the pub I’ve had an abortion,” Belle shot back.
Tom noticed Belle was no longer wearing her wedding ring, then accused her of “moving on” and “slagging [him] off to everyone in the process”.

“Even Cain and Charity realise you’re not well now. If they do, everyone else will too,” Tom claimed. “No-one is going to believe you, Belle.”
In yet another manipulation, Tom warned that he could do something drastic if he was shunned by other members of the village.
“I’m coping with it now but what if I can’t deal with it and I do something stupid again? That’d be your fault,” Tom told her.
Belle was desperate to stop Tom from following through on his threat, so she ordered Vinny to stay out of her business from now on.
Friday’s episode follows reports earlier in the day that James Chase will leave Emmerdale later this year, once Tom and Belle’s storyline concludes.
