Emmerdale goes LIVE with soap legend for fans – don’t miss it| Emmerdale spoilers 1st -5th July 2024

Emmerdale has announced an exciting live event featuring soap legend Claire King. It’s been confirmed that King, known for her role as Kim Tate on the ITV soap, will take center stage for the first in a series of live “An Evening With” events. The event, titled “An Evening with Claire King,” will take place on July 26th at the Wheatwood Hotel in Lawnwood.

Queen of soaps and This Morning regular Sharon Marshall will join King to discuss and celebrate her iconic soap legacy. The evening will feature conversations about King’s most memorable moments, replaying some of her best scenes, and possibly teasing future storylines. Fans will also have the opportunity to ask King their own questions.

“Kim Tate has been and remains an incredible part of my life. Playing such a powerful character is a gift for any actor, and I feel very lucky to do so,” King said in a statement. “I am rather fond of her, to be honest, and can’t wait to see what she gets up to next. Meeting the show’s fans face-to-face in our home county of Yorkshire for such a special event is fantastic.”

Marshall added, “I am over the moon to be sitting down with Claire for this one. There is, without a doubt, only one Kim Tate, and as far as soap icons go, she’s up there with the best of all time. I suspect it’s going to be a wild evening.”
