Emmerdale’s Heartbreaking Announcement: Soap Legend’s Live Event for Fans Revealed!

Emmerdale has announced an exciting live event for fans featuring soap legend Claire King. Known for her iconic role as Kim Tate on the ITV soap, King will take center stage for the first in a series of live “Emmerdale: An Evening With” events.

The event is scheduled for July 26th at the Weetwood Hotel in Lawnswood. It will be hosted by Sharon Marshall, a regular on “This Morning” and a renowned soap expert. During the evening, King and Marshall will discuss and celebrate King’s legendary soap career, sharing some of her most memorable moments and possibly hinting at future storylines.

Fans will have the opportunity to see some of King’s best scenes replayed and even ask her questions directly during a Q&A session. Tickets for the event can be purchased from the Emmerdale Village Tour website. Standard tickets are priced at £55, while premium tickets, which include a personal meet and greet with King, a complimentary drink, and a souvenir guidebook, are available for £85.

Reflecting on her role, King stated, “Kim Tate has been and remains an incredible part of my life. Playing such a powerful, if not tricky, character is a gift for any actor, and I feel very lucky to do so. I am rather fond of her, to be honest, and can’t wait to see what she gets up to next. Meeting the program’s fans face-to-face in Yorkshire for such a special event is fantastic.”

Marshall added, “I am over the moon to be sitting down with Claire for this one. There is without a doubt only one Kim Tate, and as far as soap icons go, she’s up there with the best of all time. I suspect it’s going to be a wild evening.”
