In upcoming scenes of the ITV soap, Laurel’s health takes a drastic turn for the worse. Official spoilers reveal that after a heated argument with her husband Jai Sharma, Laurel’s condition deteriorates rapidly.

The trouble begins when Jai admits he can’t bring himself to tell his half-brother, Sunny Sharma, the truth. Infuriated, Laurel and Jai’s argument escalates, leading Jai to insult Laurel’s late husband, Ashley. Furious, Laurel sends Jai away, not wanting the confrontation to get worse.

However, once alone, Laurel starts feeling dizzy and collapses. Terrified and barely able to move, she struggles to reach her ringing phone. Gabby Thomas finds Laurel in this dire state, struggling to breathe, and quickly calls an ambulance.

Meanwhile, Jai attempts to tell Sunny the truth at The Hide, but Gabby’s constant calls interrupt him. Jai, already on edge, snaps at Sunny before learning about Laurel’s collapse. Realizing the severity of the situation, Jai’s anger subsides.

This crisis comes after recent revelations about Jai’s dark secret. Fans learned that Jai’s father, Rishi Sharma, was killed by Amit Sharma, who pushed him down the stairs. Jai, seeking revenge, forced a confession out of Amit and made him leave the village, warning him never to return.

Eric Pollard discovered the truth and started blackmailing Jai, leading to further tension. Laurel, growing suspicious, learned a twisted version of the events from Jai, which left her furious. Jai’s deception and manipulation have driven a wedge between them, culminating in Laurel’s current health scare.

Actor Chris Bisson, who plays Jai, hints at a darker turn for his character, saying, “I think he is going to become a bit more ruthless. He feels he has been taken for a fool and doesn’t want that to happen again. So yes, maybe bad Jai is back, and do you know what? I quite like bad Jai. He’s fun to play.”
