Caleb notices the vicar and, hearing Charity comment that Charles is unlikely to want to return to a house filled with memories of his dead son, makes a decision. At Mill, Ruby is shocked when her husband shows up with a very drunk Charles. Ruby, still grappling with the guilt of being behind Ethan’s hit-and-run, must now face the consequences of her actions.
