Emmerdale exit seaIed for beIoved coupIe after Ruby Milligan revenge pIan
Following Nikki and Sona’s sudden departure from Emmerdale last week, it appears that Ruby and Caleb are also planning to leave the village. Ruby Fox Milligan confirmed their intentions during the July 9th episode.
In the latest installment, Kim Tate mockingly asked Ruby if she was headed to the bus stop or train station, suggesting she might join her son wherever he had gone. Ruby retorted sharply, indicating she was getting flowers for Kim’s grave.
Later, Ruby met with Rose Jackson to discuss their scheme against Kim. Standing by a river, the two women bantered before Rose expressed regret over Ruby’s son’s departure. Ruby revealed their plans to leave and take some time to reassess their situation, confirming their departure from the village.
Rose questioned Ruby’s dedication to their plan, prompting Ruby to assert that she wanted to see it through to completion. She reminded Rose of their agreement: Ruby had paid off Rose’s debts, and Rose was to ensure their plan against Kim succeeded.
Caleb had previously tried to destroy Kim, driven by the belief that she was responsible for his father Frank Tate’s death. Frank was Kim’s ex, and she had left him to die after a heart attack, stealing some of his assets. Although Caleb had abandoned his revenge plans, Ruby decided to take over, enlisting Rose’s help.
Ruby instructed Rose to exploit her past romance with Kim’s husband, Will Taylor, to disrupt Kim’s life. Rose seemed well-placed to seduce Will, which would devastate Kim. Ruby’s plan to strike at Kim and leave the village with Caleb follows their son Nick’s exit last week.
Charles Anderson had become suspicious of the Milligan family’s involvement in Ethan’s hit-and-run, leading Caleb to take the blame to protect Ruby. When Caleb and Ruby tried to involve Nikki in their latest scheme, he lost patience and decided it was time to leave with their son, Shamu.
Will Ruby and Caleb actually leave Emmerdale? Fans will have to stay tuned to find out.
