In Monday’s episode, Jimmy confided in Tom King and Paddy Dingle about Angelica’s struggles, revealing that she is still having a hard time and is no longer his “little angel.”

Meanwhile, the Dingles are deeply concerned about Belle’s relationship with Tom. Despite Tom’s frustration with Charity’s interference, he conceded that Belle needed a break. The Dingles urged Belle to be honest about her feelings following her miscarriage. However, viewers know that Belle didn’t have a miscarriage—she had an abortion, a fact Tom concealed by telling everyone they lost the baby to gain sympathy.

Belle attempted to leave the Woolpack, but her family stopped her, expressing their worry about her secrecy. Charity suggested that Belle needed some time away from Tom, pointing out that despite Belle trying to keep her abortion private, Tom had already told Noah. This led to Charity storming off, where Chaz tried to calm her down, but Charity was insistent that Belle was hiding something.
