Emmerdale reveals Tom’s frightening next steps after splitting with Belle. In upcoming scenes, Tom’s behavior takes a more sinister turn as he tries to control Belle. After Belle decides to move back into Wishing Well Cottage, declaring her marriage over, Tom attempts to turn her family against her by falsely claiming she attacked him. He then humiliates her by revealing to the whole pub that she lied about having a miscarriage.

As Belle visits a mental health counselor, she begins to reexamine the reality of her marriage. With powerful words from her counselor, Belle starts to realize she might be a victim of abuse.
