Elsewhere in the village, Laurel Thomas confronts Jai Sharma about telling Sunny the truth about Amit. Unable to face the reality, Jai lashes out, insulting Ashley’s memory before storming off. Laurel, devastated by the encounter, suddenly feels unwell and collapses to the floor, unable to reach her phone. Fortunately, Gabby Thomas arrives in time and calls for an ambulance.
Meanwhile, Caleb Milligan finds himself in danger as Charles Anderson begins to piece together the truth about Ethan’s hit-and-run. A confrontation ensues between the two in the woods, but the outcome remains uncertain.
