Emmerdale unveils Caleb Milligan’s shocking new plan for revenge against Kim Tate. The ITV soap revisits the bitter grudge between Frank Tate’s son and his ex-wife Kim following last week’s dramatic events, where Rose Jackson mysteriously disappeared from Home Farm.

In the episode airing on Monday, August 5th, Dawn suggests hiring a private investigator to find Rose. Dawn is puzzled by Rose’s sudden disappearance, especially since she had plans to reconcile with Will. “I know I have no right to ask Kim for anything, but please talk to her about hiring a private investigator,” Dawn pleaded with Will, desperate to find her mother and understand why she left.

Will later approaches Kim with Dawn’s request, hoping to appease her. Kim, conflicted but trying to placate Dawn, warns Ruby in the village that those who challenge her, like Rose, do not fare well. Caleb then takes the opportunity to reveal to Kim that Ruby had been conspiring with Rose behind his back.

Back at Home Farm, Kim and Will discuss sending a fake message from Rose’s phone to Dawn to give her closure. Will is concerned about how Kim obtained Rose’s phone. Eventually, Dawn receives a text message, supposedly from Rose, saying she will never return to Home Farm and to stop searching for her.

Meanwhile, Caleb takes Ruby to a remote depot and reveals his plans. He admits to bribing officials to rule the recent fire at Home Farm as an accident and has since purchased the depot. Caleb vows to build his own empire right next to Kim’s, promising to seek revenge. In a dramatic twist, Caleb thanks Ruby for inspiring him, and they share a passionate kiss.

Clare King, who plays Kim, had hinted at this ongoing feud being reignited in 2024, as there is still unfinished business between Caleb and Kim. Caleb initially tried to scam Kim by posing as her business partner to take over Home Farm, only for Kim to discover his true identity as Frank Tate’s long-lost son. Ruby’s attempts to infiltrate Home Farm with Rose as a spy were also thwarted by Kim. The revenge saga continues to unfold in Emmerdale.
