In a tense week on Emmerdale, a beloved character is feared dead following a dramatic incident at the hospital. The storyline intensifies as Mattie, who has found some hope after his cellmate Les accepts him as a trans man and agrees to relay this to Amy during her visit, learns they have a new solicitor, raising his hopes for an early release.
