In a tense week on Emmerdale, a beloved character is feared dead following a dramatic incident at the hospital. The storyline intensifies as Mattie, who has found some hope after his cellmate Les accepts him as a trans man and agrees to relay this to Amy during her visit, learns they have a new solicitor, raising his hopes for an early release.
During visiting hours, Amy feels positive seeing Mattie’s uplifted spirits. However, as Mattie returns to his cell, Amy is approached by Robo, whom she mistakes for Les. Robo’s sympathetic demeanor tricks Amy into revealing sensitive information about Mattie, putting him in grave danger.
