A major Emmerdale couple is on the rocks after a shocking discovery. Laurel Thomas has finally uncovered Jai Sharma’s dark secret about Amit. Up until now, only Rishi knew about Jai’s hidden side and took pleasure in provoking him. In Thursday’s episode, Eric stirred the pot by continuously annoying Jai at The Hide, which Laurel noticed. Curious about Jai’s stressed demeanor, Laurel confronted Jai and Eric outside.

With no choice left, Jai confessed everything about Amit, Sunny, and the business to Laurel. She was stunned, and a vicious argument erupted between them. In his fury, Jai insulted Laurel’s late husband, Ashley. Enraged, Laurel made Jai leave, but this decision soon proved to be a grave mistake.

Alone and feeling severely unwell, Laurel was overwhelmed by dizziness and collapsed. Terrified and unable to move, she struggled for breath and couldn’t reach her phone. As time ticked away, Laurel was barely breathing when Gabby Thomas discovered her and immediately called an ambulance.

Meanwhile, Jai, preparing to drop a bombshell on his brother Sunny, was interrupted by Gabby’s persistent calls. Irritated, Jai finally answered, but the urgency in Gabby’s voice drained the color from his face as he learned his wife had collapsed and was in critical condition.
