Emmerdale fans might witness the departure of a long-standing character, Cain Dingle, following the emotional events in the latest hour-long episode. Cain, portrayed by Jeff Hordley, faces a potential exit after a series of heartbreaking scenes.

The episode opens with Moira Dingle (Natalie J. Robb) and Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) visiting Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) in prison.
