Emmerdale’s Belle Dingle bravely stood up to Tom King after telling him she lost their baby. This week, Belle secretly went to an appointment across town to begin the process of having an abortion. To keep Tom from finding out, she asked Amelia Spencer to take Piper the dog for a walk and hid her phone in Esther’s pram, making Tom think she was in the countryside.

When Belle returned home, Tom had already gone to the woods looking for her. Fortunately, Belle arrived just in time and pretended that Amelia had asked to spend time with her. However, she didn’t realize that a parking ticket from the hospital was left on the floor of Tom’s car.

In Friday’s episode, Belle devised another plan to take her abortion medication without Tom suspecting. As Tom headed to work, Belle drove to the hospital again. While taking another tablet, she kept a close eye on the time and the parking ticket, knowing it was crucial for her cover story. After calling Tom, she returned home and told him she had started bleeding, went to the hospital, and was informed she had experienced a miscarriage.

Tom grew angry, accusing the hospital staff of negligence for not contacting him. Belle, terrified he would uncover the truth, tried to calm him down. Later, as Tom’s anger subsided, he suggested trying for another baby once she was ready. Belle was shocked by his comments, unable to process the current situation, let alone the idea of having another baby.

When Tom got into the car, he checked his tracker app against the parking ticket stuck on the window, which matched up. However, he didn’t notice the parking ticket on the floor beside him.
