Emmerdale’s Samson exits and plans to get revenge! | Emmerdale spoilers 29th July to 2nd August 2024

Samson Dingle’s exit from Emmerdale has been confirmed, and he’s set on revenge. After initially letting Matty Barton go to prison for a crime he didn’t commit, Samson finally had a change of heart. Influenced by Lydia, he revealed enough of the truth to spare Matty, though it took weeks into Matty’s prison stay and a severe injury for Samson to act.

Samson eventually stood up to Josh, who tried to verbally abuse Lydia, but while Josh got away, Samson now faces a lengthy prison sentence. Determined to plead guilty out of shame, he seems resigned to his fate, unaware of the harsh realities of prison life. Sam and Lydia are desperate to prepare him, so Sam turns to Aaron, a seasoned insider, for help.

However, Cain overhears and takes matters into his own hands. Sam’s plan backfires when he finds Cain giving Samson a brutal lesson, essentially training him for prison. Cain believes that if Samson doesn’t toughen up, he’ll become an easy target for other inmates. Realizing the need to survive, Samson asks Cain for help in learning to fight dirty.

Moira spots Cain helping Samson and is furious. She can’t believe Cain is aiding the boy who watched as her son fought for his life. In her rage, Moira intervenes in the training, grabbing Samson’s face, and things quickly escalate. Those around her have to step in to prevent further harm, leaving everyone to wonder if Moira has gone too far.

As Samson prepares for his prison stint with a new, hardened resolve, tensions in Emmerdale are at an all-time high, setting the stage for intense drama and possible retribution.
